Create a wiki page library
A team site is a wiki site. This is also true for other types of sites. So you can start creating your wiki pages from the team site or another type of site. In a team site, each new page is created in the Pages library of the site. If that's all you need, you do not need to create a wiki page library, and you can skip the other procedures in this article. If you prefer to manage your wiki site separately, you can create a wiki page library.
Click Settings , and then click Add Application .

In your applications page , type wiki in the search field, and then click Search Magnifying glass icon Search .

Click Wiki Page Library .

In the Name box , type a name for the new wiki page library, such as wiki pages .
Click Create .
In the content list , click on the new wiki to open it.
To add users, click share Share button in SharePoint 2016 in the upper right corner of the page.
In the share dialog box, enter the names, e-mail addresses, or "everyone" alias. If you have team messaging aliases such as "engineering" or any other group alias, you can also enter them here. As you enter the names, the server queries to verify the existence of the user account or alias. If you later want to add users, see Adding users to a wiki page below.

Click on share to save.
Create a corporate wiki site
Before creating a corporate wiki site, consider whether it is the best solution for your organization. To learn more about planning and creating a corporate wiki site, see Plan Sites and Manage Users to get an idea. A complete enterprise wiki must be created as its own collection of sites. For more information, see Create a site collection .
The following instructions show how to create a corporate wiki as a subsite.
On the site where you want to create an enterprise wiki site, click Settings SharePoint Online Public Website Settings Button and then click Site Content .
In the site's content page , click New + , and then click Subsite , or click New Subsite .
On the New SharePoint Site page, type a title and a URL name for the site.
In the Model Selection section , click Publishing , and then Enterprise Wiki .

To set unique permissions, click Use unique permissions .

Click Create .
You may be directed to the Set Up Groups dialog for this site , where you can leave the groups as default, add or edit groups.
